What we collect
When you place an order we collect your name, shipping address, billing address, email address, and a phone number if you choose to give one. We keep a record of what you ordered and when.
If you join a waitlist or sign up for email, we collect your email address and the tag that tells us which list you asked to be on.
We do not collect anything we do not need to make and ship your order.
Custom artwork
If you order a custom faceplate, we keep the image you upload, and the production files we make from it, with your order so we can make, check and support it. We do not use your artwork for anything else. Ask us and we will delete it once the order is complete and the warranty period has passed.
Payment processing
Card payments are processed by WooPayments. PayPal payments are processed by PayPal. Both handle your payment details directly.
We never see or store your full card number. What we receive back is a confirmation, the last four digits, and the card type. That is enough to match a payment to an order and issue a refund, and nothing more.
We send transactional email about orders you place: confirmation, production status, shipping notification.
Marketing and waitlist email only goes to people who asked for it. Every one of those messages has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing does not affect order emails you still need to receive.
We do not sell or rent your email address. Apart from the payment processors above and the scrambled form sent to Reddit (see below), we do not share it.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
The site sets cookies required for the shop to work: keeping your cart, keeping you logged in, and processing checkout. These cannot be turned off without breaking the store.
We advertise on Reddit and use the Reddit Pixel to measure those ads. When you visit the site, it can tell Reddit which pages you viewed, what you added to your cart and the value of an order, and it may share a scrambled (hashed) form of your email address so Reddit can match the visit to an ad. Reddit uses this under its own privacy policy, at reddit.com/policies/privacy-policy. You can turn off personalized ads in your Reddit account settings, or block third-party cookies in your browser.
We do not run any other analytics or advertising tags.
Your rights and contact
Email us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Deleting your data may mean we can no longer look up a past order for warranty purposes, so we will confirm before we do it.
